I've been trying to focus on getting really dark in the shadows, as to make the piece more dramatic. I've also decided that I am going to complete the black and white portions for all five pieces before I do their backgrounds in color, so that I can assess the drawing as a series and then make the decision for what I'll do in the background. If anyone has any suggestions or feedback I'd love to hear it!

Lauren,
ReplyDeleteI really like your strategy of doing the black and white parts on all of them first before making the color background. Yes, this will give the series strong continuity. Good work!
